Our Accreditations


Cancer Centre London has been accredited by CHKS for its processes and standards which meet international best practice standards.

Accreditation by CHKS provides a standards-based framework for quality assurance and quality improvement. Taking part in the process of accreditation gives an organisation the resilience and vigilance required to deliver consistently high quality healthcare services.



In July 2013 Cancer Centre London was assessed and awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM).  The Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) is a detailed quality framework used for assessing whether cancer care environments meet the standards required by people living with cancer. 



Bupa, the UK's leading private healthcare insurance company has accredited Parkside Hospital, Cancer Centre London and The Holly Private Hospital as Breast Care and Bowel Care centres of excellence for cancer diagnosis and treatment.



The Holly Private Hospital has been accredited as an Investors in People organisation. The Investors in People framework is the core foundation of people management excellence; the standard is a benchmark for any well-run organisation.



WorldHost is a customer-service training provider and has trained over 160,000 people in the UK, one-million worldwide; including staff/volunteers at the London 2012 Olympic Games/Paralympics who were widely praised for the fantastic welcome they gave visitors. Aspen Healthcare was the first healthcare provider to receive WorldHost accreditation and now has 22 staff members who are fully trained WorldHost Customer Service Champions delivering this training to other staff within the organisation. 



Aspen has worked with the Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP), the recognised authority on theatre standards, to develop a new accreditation programme.  Our theatres have demonstrated to external auditors that they meet all the standards set by AfPP in order to achieve this accreditation and were the first in the UK to achieve the new AfPP 'kite mark'. 



Aspen Healthcare's laboratories take part in the Clinical Pathology Accreditation (CPA) scheme. This ensures that laboratories provide a high quality service to defined standards. Every four years Inspectors from Clinical Pathology Accreditation UK visit each specialist area. An accredited laboratory service provides confidence to the user and patient that standards set by the CPA are achieved and maintained.



The Holly Private Hospital and Parkside Hospital Decontamination Departments hold certification for ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2012 which supports accreditation in accordance with Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC Article 12. This demonstrates that both are fully compliant with the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive and associated standards thereby assuring the safety and sterility of surgical instruments used in clinical procedures. This not only means that we are conforming to the highest standards but also that we are able to provide services to external hospitals, clinics and surgeries. and has been awarded.
