Aspen Healthcare was celebrating success recently after winning at the HR Distinction Awards, for the second year in a row.
Rachel Miller, Junior HR Business Partner was awarded the prize for Rising Talent in HR. The Rising Talent in HR award recognises an individual who has a clear understanding of the business and demonstrates an outstanding approach to their work which goes beyond conventional expectations of their level. The winner has not only excelled, but has also gone above and beyond in their attitude to development.
This is the second year in a row that Aspen Healthcare has taken home one of the coveted HRD Awards, with Helen McKibbin being awarded HR Director of the Year in 2018.
In addition, one of Aspen’s private hospitals, The Holly Private Hospital, was also shortlisted for a Distinction in Reward and Benefits and a Distinction in Employee Engagement and Experience.
Speaking about the award win, Helen McKibbin, Group HR Director said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be celebrating this success at the HRD Awards, which are the Oscars of the HR world. Rachel thoroughly deserves this recognition as Rising Star and I look forward to working closely with her as we further develop innovative HR initiatives across Aspen Healthcare.”
About the HR Distinction Awards
The 9th HRD Awards were held on Thursday, May 2nd 2019, in The Grosvenor Hotel, London and attended by hundreds of the UK’s HR leaders and innovators.
The awards celebrated the great work done in the last year by HR professionals across the country, giving out gongs to a whole host of teams and individuals who have transformed their organisations with most the innovative, engaging and creative HR strategies. They also recognise inspirational individuals who are the rising stars of the HR industry.
Other winners on the night included Warburtons, Virgin Media, Aviva, Dr Martens, Atos, Network Rail, Odeon Cinemas Group, Coop, Computershare, NHS North West Ambulance Service, WinPro and Watford Community Housing.
